研究简介
José Carlos Rebelo da Silva博士,广州实验室研究员,国家重大人才项目入选者。来华前,曾在剑桥大学Wellcome-MRC干细胞研究所担任首席研究员长达12年,曾先后获得过极具竞争力的Wellcome Trust Advanced Research Fellowship Award 和Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellowship Award。主要从事细胞命运决定与干细胞相关研究,是干细胞和重编程研究领域的开创者和领军人物。目前的研究重点是开发新型的、可模拟胚胎发育的小鼠和人的胚胎模型,旨在体外获得高质量的功能性细胞,应用于再生医学。Silva博士以通讯作者的身份在顶级科学杂志Cell、Nature、Nature Cell Biology、Nature Communications、Developmental Cell和Cell Stem Cell等发表多篇论文,目前已授权高质量专利3篇,正在申请中专利3篇。
